Liquidity pools
A liquidity pool is the inventory a decentralized swap uses. People deposit a pair, swaps move the price, and fees go back to the depositors under rules written in the contract. We build the pool and the interface for adding and removing liquidity.

Questions
Is a pool the same as an exchange?
The pool is the inventory. The exchange is the application that swaps against it. They are often built together, and they can also be separate.
